Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Hamza Messaoudi ("we", "us"), the developer of the HealWithMe app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What HealWithMe is
HealWithMe is a self-reflection and emotional-wellness app focused on relationship clarity. It offers quizzes, mood check-ins, guided activities, and a personalized profile based on your answers. It is a tool for reflection — the insights it produces are generated from your own answers and are meant to support your thinking, not replace it. HealWithMe does not operate in a regulated industry and does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or measure any medical or psychological condition, claim clinical or regulatory credentials, or provide therapy, medical advice, or crisis care.
HealWithMe is not therapy or medical care. The app does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read in the app.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number right away. In the United States you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline); elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists free, confidential helplines by country.
3. Who may use the app
You must be at least 16 years old to use HealWithMe. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription (currently offered as HealWithMe Plus). The exact price, billing period, and any free-trial or introductory offer are always shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and handled entirely by Apple.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the confirmed purchase price.
- Cancelling. You can cancel anytime in your device Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Price changes. If a subscription price increases, Apple will notify you and, where required, ask for your consent before you are charged the new price.
- Refunds. Purchases are refunded according to Apple's policies — you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory withdrawal or refund rights you have under the law of your country.
- Restoring. Use "Restore purchases" in the app to regain access on a new or reset device signed into the same Apple ID.
5. Your content
Your moods, relationship names and notes, free text, and most welcome-questionnaire answers are stored only on your device. Four broad welcome answers are included in pseudonymous usage analytics; adaptive clarity-quiz answers are processed by our Cloudflare quiz service; and messages you choose to send to Chat with Freya are processed to generate its reply. Our Privacy Policy explains each limited exception, the launch hold on unverified AI retention, and how to make a data request. You own the content kept on your device and are responsible for it. Because we hold no copy of that on-device content, deleting the app deletes it; if you want to keep it, use your device's backup features. Erase my data in Settings → Privacy deletes your on-device content immediately and best-effort requests deletion of the limited server-side data described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting local data, or using Erase my data, does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage or cancel billing through Apple.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app, reverse-engineer it except where the law permits, use it in any unlawful way, or attempt to circumvent its subscription mechanism.
7. Intellectual property
The app, including its design, characters, text, graphics, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its insights are accurate or suitable for your situation. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.
10. Apple-specific terms
These terms are between you and us, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product-liability claims, legal-compliance claims, or intellectual-property claims. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms; if we make material changes we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or end access for violation of these terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of your country of habitual residence to the extent local consumer law requires; otherwise by the laws of Spain, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country remain unaffected.
